EA Sports revealed the FIFA 22 soundtrack, boasting that this year’s game features the largest collection of music in the series, with an unprecedented 122 songs representing 27 nations.
âThis year’s main soundtrack features 52 new tracks – a collection spanning all genres of daring and inspiring beats from artists like Glass Animals, Polo & Pan, Bakar, CHVRCHES and more,â says a press release from EA.
“FIFA 22 will also feature the music of some of the world’s most prominent newcomers such as New York singer Casper Caan, Australian alt-rockers Bloodmoon, Brazilian vocal phenomenon CAIO PRADO and London soul singer Hope Tala.”
On the Volta Football side, the atmosphere is a little different; the 70 songs dedicated to this side of the game offer a mix of hip-hop, grime, electronics and broader genres of music than you will find in the more mainstream side of FIFA 22.
âIts gritty underground vibe can be felt in sneakers scuttling onto a clay court or a hot concrete playground,â says EA. “Wherever players can express their individual style, the soundtrack will be the amplified underline of all the action.”
Some artists don’t just put their music in the game either; Swedish House Mafia, AJ Tracey, CHIKA, and DJ Snake all have exclusive new FUT kits which they also designed in-game.
You can listen to the full soundtrack now on Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music.
The soundtrack announcement follows the cover revealed by EA which debuted in July, as well as the announcement of the game’s October 1 release date and the new Hypermotion animation system.
FIFA 22 is slated for release on October 1 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and Switch (old). The game is $ 70 on new consoles
